About Me
Aiden Dastgiri
I am a GIS student at Appalachian State University pursuing a B.S. in Geographic Information Systems with a 3.55 GPA and an expected graduation in 2025. My coursework has provided a strong foundation in spatial analysis, cartography, environmental GIS, and remote sensing. I am proficient in ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, QGIS, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office, and I have been consistently recognized on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Lists for my academic performance.

I worked as an Equipment Technician and Truck Driver at Ocean Atlantic Rentals, where I applied mapping and routing skills while strengthening communication and customer service. I previously served with NC Conservation Legacy in Uwharrie National Forest, gaining experience in conservation work, trail restoration, and teamwork in a field-based environment.
